Shippabo is a B2B, SaaS company whose branding is still a moving target.
In this sample design for a lead generating landing page, I provided a clean, modern design and logo that says who they are, what they do, the value they bring, and, I think, screams tech startup.
I went with a sort of 'sanitized graphic novel' approach to the visual design in an effort to make an otherwise visually dismal industry feel fresh and 'tech forward'.

A layout design for Wine Country Gift Baskets which I photographed and helped my colleague, Kory Jones, with some of the design efforts. While this is not final art, we offered them a more progressive direction for the design of their catalogs that highlights the great brands they offer and captures some of the real-world stories connected to their enjoyment.
Cinematography is an end-to-end designed experience that focuses on the emotional engagement of the viewer in service to the telling of a story. As is the case with commercial production, there's always a business goal as well.
So I think you know where I'm heading here.
While the tools and techniques are different, user-centered design and cinematography have strikingly similar and familiar 'big ideas'.
Given that, I would like to share a sampling of some of my past work in hopes of giving you a better picture of who I am and why I say the practice of user centered design comes so naturally to me.
